You are an entry-level Equipment Maintenance Technician with a strong foundation in mechanical and electrical systems. You have experience performing maintenance and repairs on production equipment, ensuring that all machinery operates efficiently and safely. You are familiar with troubleshooting techniques and can diagnose issues effectively, using your skills to replace or repair parts as needed. You understand the importance of preventive maintenance and are committed to maintaining a clean and orderly work environment. You are comfortable using a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment to perform your duties. You are a team player who communicates effectively with supervisors and colleagues to report any unusual situations or faulty operations.
Experience in plumbing maintenance and carpentry functions is a plus, as it complements your mechanical skills. Familiarity with safety regulations and maintenance systems will help you excel in this role.
In this role, you will perform highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production machines and the plant facility’s equipment. You will provide emergency and unscheduled repairs during production and perform scheduled maintenance repairs during machine service. Your responsibilities will include reading and interpreting equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service. You will diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, and test and make adjustments to ensure optimal performance. Regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and plant facilities will be a key part of your duties. You will also perform a variety of plumbing maintenance and carpentry functions as needed. Your ability to detect faulty operations and defective materials will be crucial, as you will report these issues to the proper supervision. Compliance with safety regulations will be essential, and you will maintain clean and orderly work areas at all times.
