Carvana is seeking an Entry-Level Brake and Tire Auto Technician to perform maintenance and repairs on vehicles. This role requires a minimum of 1 year of automotive repair experience and offers competitive wages and benefits.
Job Description
Who you are
You have at least 1 year of professional automotive repair experience and are eager to join a fast-growing company like Carvana. As a Brake & Tire Technician, you are comfortable performing light maintenance and repairs, including changing brakes and tires. You possess basic mechanical repair skills for brake pads, calipers, rotors, tire installations, and wheel alignments. You are ready to work with state-of-the-art tools in a high-tech Inspection Center and are open to learning and growing your skills through training programs offered by the company.
Desirable
Experience with ASE certification or similar automotive qualifications would be a plus, as well as familiarity with various automotive systems and components. A valid driverβs license is essential, and being able to communicate effectively in English is required.
What you'll do
In this role, you will be responsible for performing routine inspections and maintenance on vehicles, ensuring that all brake and tire systems are functioning correctly. You will work closely with other technicians to diagnose issues and provide solutions that meet Carvana's high standards for vehicle quality. Your day-to-day tasks will include changing brake pads and tires, conducting wheel alignments, and performing basic mechanical repairs. You will also be expected to maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
You will have the opportunity to learn from experienced technicians and participate in training programs that will help you advance your skills and career within the company. As you gain experience, you may take on more complex repair tasks and contribute to the overall efficiency of the Inspection Center.
