Carvana is seeking an Experienced Auto Technician to perform extensive repairs and diagnostics on various vehicles. This role requires a minimum of 5 years of professional automotive repair experience and offers a $6000 sign-on bonus.
You have a minimum of 5 years of professional automotive repair experience, demonstrating your ability to handle extensive repairs and heavy engine work. Your expertise includes advanced vehicle diagnostics, allowing you to troubleshoot and resolve complex automotive issues effectively. You are skilled in repairing advanced vehicle electrical systems and have experience installing, repairing, and replacing vehicle refrigerant and recovery systems. Your knowledge extends to performing diagnostics and repairs on all makes and models, including electric and hybrid vehicles, showcasing your versatility in the automotive field.
You thrive in a high-tech environment and are comfortable using state-of-the-art tools in one of Carvana's Inspection Centers. Your commitment to quality and safety ensures that every vehicle you work on meets the highest standards. You are a team player who values collaboration and communication, understanding that working together leads to better outcomes for both the team and the customers.
While not required, additional certifications such as ASE would be beneficial. Experience with electric and hybrid vehicles is a plus, as it aligns with the evolving automotive landscape. A valid driver’s license and the ability to read, write, speak, and understand English are essential for this role.
