SpaceX is seeking a Leaching Specialist for Heat Shield Manufacturing to oversee tile production and ensure operational efficiency. This role requires expertise in monitoring casting and leaching operations.
You have a strong background in manufacturing processes, particularly in monitoring and operating production systems. Your experience includes ensuring quality and efficiency in production environments, with a focus on safety and operational excellence. You are skilled in analyzing system performance and have a track record of driving improvements in manufacturing processes. You possess excellent communication skills, enabling you to train staff effectively and bridge the gap between supervisors and production teams. You are detail-oriented and committed to maintaining high standards in production quality.
In this role, you will be responsible for the continuous monitoring and operation of tile production, casting, and leaching operations at SpaceX. You will ensure that these processes operate efficiently and safely, maintaining optimal conditions for producing high-quality cast heatshield tiles. You will lead training sessions for technicians, developing systems and processes to ensure they are qualified to monitor fiber delivery and casting operations. Your responsibilities will include overseeing the fiber delivery system and casting operations, ensuring that all materials and chemicals are properly dosed and that methods and instruments are operated correctly. You will analyze system trends to propose and review regular inspections and tests to ensure the quality of cast heatshield tiles.
