You are a skilled Diesel Technician with experience working on Class 8 trucks and trailers. You enjoy problem-solving and are dedicated to ensuring vehicle uptime and safety. You thrive in a collaborative environment and are eager to contribute to a rapidly growing team. You possess a valid driver’s license and can communicate effectively in English.
Experience with fleet maintenance and a passion for vehicle repair are highly valued. ASE certification is a plus, and you are open to pursuing further certifications to enhance your skills.
As a Diesel Technician at Carvana, you will be a key member of the Fleet Maintenance team, responsible for maintaining and repairing our Class 8 fleet. Your day-to-day tasks will include performing routine inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on trucks and trailers to ensure they are safe and reliable. You will work primarily on day cabs and trailers, all under manufacturer warranty, which means you will focus on preventive maintenance rather than major overhauls.
You will collaborate with other technicians and team members to troubleshoot issues and implement effective solutions. Your role will also involve keeping accurate records of maintenance and repairs, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and contributing to a culture of safety and efficiency within the team.
