What you'll do
In this role, you will develop technical and business solutions that empower engineers to enhance the quality and reliability of the product features they build. You will drive improvements to the core infrastructure, focusing on production clusters, networking, databases, and observability systems. Your responsibilities will include championing best practices during code reviews and technical design discussions, ensuring that the team adheres to high standards.
You will also own the incident management and fire drill processes, leading efforts to prepare the team for unexpected challenges. Collaborating with engineering teams, you will help them understand and improve the performance of their systems, making a significant impact on the overall reliability of Descript's offerings.
