SpaceX is hiring a Production Machinist for the Starlink project to manufacture and improve precision machined parts. You'll operate CNC machines and work with micron-level tolerances in Woodinville, WA. This role requires at least 6 months of experience in a production environment.
You have a high school diploma or equivalency certificate and at least 6 months of experience working in a production environment. You are familiar with handling or working with machined hardware and are eager to learn and grow in a challenging role. As a CNC Machinist on the Ultra Precision Machining team, you will be responsible for setting up and operating multi-axis CNC machines. You will manufacture parts with micron-level tolerances at production volumes, ensuring that each piece meets the highest standards of quality. You will troubleshoot and resolve any off-nominal issues that arise, maintaining maximum machine uptime and actively participating in best practices. You will complete machining operations based on blueprints, drawings, and verbal instructions, working with complex parts made from various materials.
