WatchOS Software QA Engineer

You have a BS in Computer Science or equivalent recent on-the-job experience in Software QA, demonstrating a solid foundation in quality assurance principles and practices. You are self-motivated and possess strong technical and interpersonal skills, allowing you to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams. Your enthusiasm for customer-focused design drives you to ensure high-quality technology that meets user needs. You are passionate about Quality Assurance, particularly in the context of Watch Faces and Complications, and you understand the importance of delivering a rock-solid user experience.

You have experience in functional testing of iOS and watchOS applications, with a keen focus on watch faces and complications. Your critical thinking skills enable you to conduct thorough risk analysis and design effective test plans and test cases. You thrive in a fast-paced development environment and appreciate the close relationship between Engineering and QA, which is essential for delivering high-quality products.

What you'll do

As a WatchOS Software QA Engineer, you will play a key role in qualifying Watch Faces and Complications, ensuring that they meet Apple's high standards for quality and user experience. Your day-to-day tasks will involve designing and implementing comprehensive test plans and test cases, as well as coordinating cross-functional testing efforts. You will conduct integration testing across the system, identifying potential issues and working collaboratively with engineering teams to resolve them.

You will be responsible for functional testing of both iOS and watchOS applications, focusing on the unique aspects of the Watch experience. Your role will require you to analyze risks associated with new features and changes, ensuring that all potential impacts are considered. You will also participate in the development lifecycle, providing feedback and insights that contribute to the overall quality of the product.
