Vacasa is hiring a Piecework Housekeeper to professionally clean and maintain vacation rental properties. This role involves attention to detail and creating welcoming environments for guests.
You take pride in your work and have a keen eye for detail — ensuring that every corner of a vacation rental property is spotless is your top priority. You understand the importance of creating a welcoming environment for guests, and you enjoy the satisfaction that comes from seeing a job well done. You are reliable and punctual, with a valid driver’s license, and you are at least 18 years of age. If you are required to drive a company vehicle, you must be at least 21 years old and have been a licensed driver for no less than 3 years.
You are comfortable working independently and managing your time effectively — you thrive in a role where you can take ownership of your tasks and see the direct impact of your efforts on guests' experiences. You are open to learning new skills, such as maintaining hot tubs, and you are eager to contribute to a team that values trust and support.
In this role, you will be responsible for professionally cleaning and maintaining a portfolio of vacation rental properties. Your tasks will include sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and moving furniture to ensure that every surface sparkles. You will handle laundry and restock amenities to create a comfortable and inviting atmosphere for guests. Additionally, you will identify any maintenance needs or damages during your cleaning process, ensuring that properties are in top condition for incoming guests.
You will work on a piece rate basis, earning between $39 and $265 per unit cleaned, with an average of $93 per unit. You will also receive $23.5 per hour for paid training, required meetings, and non-post reservation cleans.
