SpaceX is seeking an NDT/NDI Level II Inspector specializing in Phased Array Ultrasonic Testing to perform high-quality inspections of flight components. This role requires NDE level II certification and offers the opportunity to contribute to groundbreaking aerospace technologies.
You have a high school diploma or equivalency certificate and hold an NDE level II certification in line with ASNT-TC-1A or NAS-410 or DoD guidance in Phased Array Ultrasonic Testing (PAUT). With at least 2 years of experience as a level II NDE/NDT inspector, you are well-versed in performing surface and volumetric NDE inspections. You possess strong skills in interpreting and evaluating engineering drawings, and you can effectively communicate and report findings to production and engineering teams. Your commitment to continuous improvement drives you to support the development of NDE inspection techniques for complex geometries and to assist in the research and development of future ultrasonic technology for operational enhancements. You also enjoy mentoring and training others within your team, fostering a collaborative environment.
