Datadog is seeking a Vice President of GTM Enablement & Business Value to lead global efforts in empowering sales and technical solutions organizations. This role focuses on aligning enablement strategy with company objectives and requires strong leadership in SaaS business scaling.

Job Description

Who you are

You are a strategic and data-driven leader with a proven track record in GTM enablement and business value creation. With extensive experience in empowering sales teams, you understand the nuances of aligning enablement strategies with overarching company objectives. Your collaborative approach allows you to work effectively with cross-functional teams, ensuring that sales productivity and continuous learning are at the forefront of your initiatives. You have a passion for scaling SaaS businesses and are adept at building world-class training and coaching functions that drive measurable revenue growth.

You possess strong analytical skills, enabling you to define and track key enablement metrics such as time-to-ramp, quota attainment, and win rates. Your ability to continuously optimize these metrics ensures that your teams are always performing at their best. You are also experienced in leading business value consulting teams, helping customers quantify the ROI of solutions, and delivering compelling executive business cases.

Desirable

You have a background in sales operations or revenue operations, which complements your GTM enablement expertise. Familiarity with SaaS metrics and a deep understanding of solution selling will set you apart as a candidate. Your experience in developing playbooks and competitive positioning will be invaluable in this role, as will your ability to collaborate with product marketing and technical solutions leadership.

What you'll do

In this role, you will build and execute a global GTM enablement strategy that supports sales productivity and onboarding. You will partner with product marketing, revenue operations, and sales leadership to develop comprehensive playbooks and messaging frameworks that resonate with customers. Your leadership will guide the design and delivery of scalable training programs focused on solution selling and product knowledge, ensuring that your teams are equipped to succeed in the market.

You will also define and track key enablement metrics, continuously optimizing processes to enhance sales performance. By building and managing a Business Value Consulting function, you will deliver ROI analysis and TCO models that help prospects and customers understand the value of your solutions. Your collaborative efforts will ensure that the sales and technical solutions organizations are aligned and empowered to drive revenue growth.
