OneOncology is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider to join their Urology team in Punta Gorda, FL. You'll provide patient-centered care in a supportive environment, collaborating closely with experienced physicians. This role requires NP or PA certification and experience in urology is preferred.
You are a compassionate and skilled Advanced Practice Provider with a focus on patient-centered care. You hold a valid NP-C or PA-C certification and have 1-2 years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant. Your background may include experience in urology, either as a registered nurse or as an advanced practice provider. Being bilingual in Spanish is a plus, allowing you to connect with a diverse patient population. You thrive in a collaborative environment and are dedicated to improving patient outcomes through effective treatment planning and follow-up care.
In this role, you will join the Urology team at SunState Medical Specialists, where you will be responsible for conducting patient evaluations, follow-up visits, and developing treatment plans in close collaboration with physicians. You will play a crucial role in guiding patients through their treatment journey, ensuring they receive the highest quality of care. Your responsibilities will include performing physical examinations, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, and prescribing medications as appropriate. You will also engage in patient education, helping individuals understand their conditions and treatment options. Your work will be integral to fostering strong patient relationships and ensuring a supportive, team-oriented environment.
