You have experience in procurement management, specifically in the flow from estimating to receiving goods. Your proficiency in PC skills, particularly in Excel for spreadsheet management and Word for document creation, is essential. You possess business-level Japanese language skills, enabling you to read and write emails, reports, and engage in discussions effectively. You have a deep understanding of equipment and parts related to maintenance, including knowledge of the market for components such as chains and bearings. Familiarity with procurement laws, including subcontracting laws and contract regulations, is a plus. You are capable of making suggestions and adjustments from a procurement perspective to improve processes. Additionally, you have a basic understanding of pneumatic equipment, bearings, and electrical devices, allowing you to interpret specifications from drawings. You recognize the importance of the 5S methodology in procurement improvements and are enthusiastic about contributing to an inclusive culture and working in a diverse team.
In this role, you will be responsible for various procurement tasks, including obtaining estimates, entering data into systems, inspecting received goods, and managing inventory. You will oversee the management of maintenance budgets and engage in cost-reduction activities, which involve negotiating prices with vendors and suggesting changes to parts as necessary. Your contributions will support the production capabilities of the fulfillment center, ensuring that maintenance operations run smoothly and efficiently. You will collaborate closely with maintenance team members to facilitate their work and help improve the performance and productivity of the equipment. Your role is crucial in ensuring that the fulfillment center operates at optimal levels, contributing to Amazon's overall success.
Amazon provides a competitive salary starting at 330,000 JPY per month, with additional compensation for overtime, night shifts, and holiday work based on hours worked. You will work Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with weekends and holidays off.
