You are proficient in TypeScript and JavaScript, and you have hands-on experience with modern Node.js frameworks like NestJS. Your background includes working with relational databases, specifically PostgreSQL, which you use to support your applications effectively.

You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with engineering and product teams to deliver best-in-class solutions. You understand the importance of automated testing and are committed to writing tests that ensure code quality and prevent regressions. Your experience in production support, including participating in on-call rotations, has equipped you with the skills to handle real-time issues effectively.

What you'll do

In this role, you will lead features and initiatives that span across teams, collaborating with counterparts in different regions to deliver impactful solutions. You will design, implement, and maintain microservices and APIs that enhance API discoverability and management for our customers. Your responsibilities will include writing automated tests to ensure the reliability of your code and participating in an on-call rotation to support your team's services in production.

You will also be expected to mentor junior engineers, sharing your knowledge and expertise to help them grow in their roles. As part of the API Management group at Kong, your work will directly influence the business outcomes for both Kong and its customers, making your contributions vital to our success.
