Auto Body Combo Tech - 2nd Shift with Pay Differential

Who you are

You have a minimum of 5 years of professional automotive bodywork experience, demonstrating your expertise in various bodywork techniques. As an Experienced Heavy Body Technician, you are skilled in heavy plastic welding, metal pulling, straightening, shrinking, and stud welding. Your experience includes roof and rocker panel repair, as well as large area, heavy bodywork, including Bondo repair. You are committed to maintaining high standards of quality and safety in your work, ensuring that every vehicle meets Carvana's expectations.

You possess strong communication skills, enabling you to effectively train and mentor other autobody technicians. You understand the importance of teamwork and collaboration in a fast-paced environment, and you are eager to share your knowledge with others. Your attention to detail and problem-solving abilities allow you to tackle complex bodywork challenges with confidence.

What you'll do

In this role, you will perform extensive bodywork on multiple panels of vehicles, ensuring that they are restored to their original condition. You will be responsible for heavy plastic welding and metal pulling, straightening, and shrinking, as well as roof and rocker panel repairs. Your expertise will be crucial in executing large area, heavy bodywork, including Bondo repair, to meet the high standards set by Carvana.

You will also take on the responsibility of training other autobody technicians, sharing your skills and knowledge to help them grow in their roles. This includes providing guidance on best practices and techniques in automotive bodywork. You will work closely with your team to ensure that all vehicles are prepared for delivery to customers, maintaining Carvana's reputation for quality and service.
