Overview

Carvana is seeking an Experienced Auto Painter to join their team in Old Hickory, TN. You'll be responsible for professional automotive painting, including blending and paint correcting vehicles. This role requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in automotive painting.

Who you are

You have a minimum of 5 years of professional automotive painting experience, showcasing your expertise in various painting techniques including base coats, tri-coats, solid, metallic, and clear coats. Your skills extend to blending adjacent panels and correcting paint on vehicles, ensuring high-quality finishes that meet industry standards. You are detail-oriented and take pride in your craftsmanship, understanding the importance of delivering exceptional results in a fast-paced environment.

You are familiar with using state-of-the-art tools and equipment in a high-tech inspection center, which enhances your ability to perform your job efficiently. You are committed to continuous improvement and are open to learning new techniques and technologies that can enhance your painting skills. You thrive in a collaborative environment and are eager to contribute to a team that values quality and innovation.

What you'll do

As an Experienced Auto Painter at Carvana, you will be responsible for preparing vehicles for painting, applying various types of paint, and ensuring that the finished product meets the company's high standards. You will work closely with other team members to ensure that vehicles are ready for delivery to customers in pristine condition. Your role will involve assessing the condition of vehicles and determining the appropriate painting techniques to use for each job.

You will also be expected to maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols and best practices in automotive painting. Your attention to detail will be crucial as you blend adjacent panels and correct any imperfections in the paintwork. You will have the opportunity to mentor entry-level painters, sharing your knowledge and skills to help them grow in their roles.
