Carvana is seeking a Brake and Tire Auto Technician to perform light maintenance and repairs on vehicles. This role requires a minimum of 1 year of professional automotive repair experience and offers competitive pay.
You have at least 1 year of professional automotive repair experience and are eager to join a fast-growing company in the automotive retail space. As a Brake & Tire Technician, you are comfortable performing light maintenance and repairs, including changing brakes and tires. You possess a basic understanding of mechanical repairs for brake pads, calipers, rotors, tire installations, and wheel alignments. You are detail-oriented and take pride in ensuring that vehicles are safe and ready for customers.
You are a team player who enjoys working in a high-tech environment and using state-of-the-art tools. You are open to learning and growing in your role, especially if you are starting in an entry-level position. You appreciate the importance of routine inspections and maintenance and are committed to delivering quality service to customers.
While not required, any additional certifications such as ASE would be a plus. Experience with advanced automotive technologies or systems can also set you apart. A valid driver’s license is essential, and being able to communicate effectively in English is necessary for this role.
As a Brake and Tire Auto Technician at Carvana, you will be responsible for performing light maintenance and repairs on vehicles, focusing on brake and tire services. You will conduct routine inspections and maintenance to ensure that vehicles meet safety standards. Your day-to-day tasks will include changing brake pads, calipers, rotors, and performing tire installations and wheel alignments. You will work closely with other technicians and team members to ensure that all vehicles are prepared for sale and meet Carvana's high standards.
You will utilize state-of-the-art tools in one of our high-tech Inspection Centers, ensuring that you have the resources needed to perform your job effectively.
