ITHAKA is seeking an Intern for Publisher Relations to assist in managing relationships with academic publishers and support content curation on JSTOR. This role is fully remote within the Continental United States.
You are a motivated individual eager to gain practical experience in the field of publisher relations and scholarly publishing. You possess strong communication skills and a willingness to learn about the nuances of content curation and project management. You are resourceful and can adapt to various tasks while working collaboratively with a team.
In this internship, you will work closely with the Content Strategy and Relationships Team at ITHAKA, assisting in managing relationships with publishers of electronic academic journals. You will help identify important journals that can be published as open access on JSTOR, contributing to the discoverability and usage of these journals worldwide. You will also learn about the scholarly publishing process and gain insights into content strategy.
