Apple is hiring a Senior Software Engineer to work on satellite connectivity solutions for iPhone and Watch Ultra. You'll utilize C++ and Python to develop real-time software systems. This role requires experience in software-defined-radio and real-time data-processing systems.
You are an experienced software engineer with a strong background in modern embedded C++ and Python, having worked on complex real-time systems. You have a deep understanding of software-defined-radio and real-time data-processing systems, enabling you to design and implement robust solutions that enhance connectivity for users in critical situations. Your experience includes working on Linux-based systems, particularly with AMD and Xilinx SoCs, and you are comfortable developing operation procedures in Python or Go.
You thrive in collaborative environments where creativity and innovation are encouraged. You have a proven track record of cross-team coordination and execution of software releases, ensuring that all components work seamlessly together. You will coordinate with various teams to execute software releases and lead hardware-software integrated test campaigns.
