What you'll do

As the Director of Product Design for the PALS team, you will oversee the entire design lifecycle for four distinct product lines: Protect, At Work, Lantern, and Small Business. Your role will involve setting the design vision and strategy, ensuring that all products deliver exceptional user experiences that drive engagement and growth. You will lead a team of designers, providing mentorship and guidance to help them develop their skills and advance their careers.

You will collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to define product requirements and ensure that design solutions are feasible and aligned with technical capabilities. Your responsibilities will include conducting user research, analyzing user feedback, and iterating on designs based on insights gathered from real users. You will also be responsible for establishing design standards and best practices, ensuring consistency across all product lines.

In this role, you will play a key part in shaping the future of SoFi's product offerings, driving significant growth and profitability across the PALS verticals. You will be instrumental in fostering a culture of design excellence within the organization, advocating for user-centered design principles and championing the importance of design in achieving business objectives.
