Senior Autobody Technician

Who you are

You have a minimum of 5 years of professional automotive bodywork experience, demonstrating your expertise in various bodywork techniques. As an Experienced Heavy Body Technician, you are skilled in heavy plastic welding, metal pulling, straightening, shrinking, and stud welding. You are also proficient in roof and rocker panel repair, as well as large area, heavy bodywork including Bondo repair. Your experience allows you to train other autobody technicians, sharing your knowledge and skills to enhance the team's capabilities.

You are a team player who is committed to delivering exceptional customer experiences. You understand the importance of meeting deadlines and are willing to work mandatory overtime when necessary to ensure that vehicles are delivered on time. Your dedication to quality and efficiency makes you a valuable asset to the Carvana team.

What you'll do

In this role, you will perform extensive bodywork on multiple panels, ensuring that each vehicle meets Carvana's high standards for quality. You will be responsible for heavy plastic welding and metal repairs, utilizing state-of-the-art tools in one of our high-tech Inspection Centers. Your expertise will be crucial in training and mentoring other technicians, helping them to develop their skills and improve their performance.

You will work closely with your team to ensure that all bodywork is completed efficiently and to the highest standards. This includes conducting thorough inspections of vehicles to identify any necessary repairs and executing those repairs with precision. Your role will also involve collaborating with other departments to ensure a seamless workflow and timely vehicle delivery.
