Who you are

You are a proactive individual who is committed to ensuring the continuous operation of essential machinery. As a Technicien(ne) de Maintenance in the RME team at Amazon, you understand the importance of maintaining a safe and efficient work environment. You are detail-oriented and have a strong focus on health and safety practices. You are eager to contribute to the development and progression of apprentices on site, sharing your knowledge and experience to foster a collaborative learning environment.

You have a hands-on approach to maintenance, capable of performing both proactive and reactive tasks. You are skilled in diagnosing equipment failures and implementing effective solutions to minimize downtime. You are familiar with the best tools and practices to optimize equipment functionality and are dedicated to continuous improvement in operational processes.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for performing maintenance tasks on a wide range of equipment within the Amazon distribution center. You will conduct proactive and preventive maintenance to ensure that all machinery operates smoothly and safely. Your responsibilities will include diagnosing equipment failures, performing repairs, and ensuring compliance with health and safety policies. You will work closely with your team to support ongoing projects aimed at improving operational efficiency and equipment reliability.

You will be based on-site, allowing you to respond quickly to any technical issues that may arise during operations. Your role will involve regular communication with colleagues to ensure that safety standards are upheld and that all maintenance tasks are completed efficiently. You will also have the opportunity to participate in continuous improvement projects, applying best practices across multiple sites within the EU.
