You are a strategic and entrepreneurial leader with extensive experience in government affairs and public policy. You possess strong political judgment and a deep understanding of the regulatory landscape, particularly as it pertains to the FinTech industry. You have a proven track record of working with state policymakers and advocacy organizations to advance impactful policies. Your ability to navigate complex political environments and anticipate challenges makes you an ideal candidate for this role. You are passionate about empowering renters and improving their financial stability, and you thrive in high-visibility roles that require collaboration across various stakeholders.

What you'll do

As the Director of State Government Affairs & Public Policy at Flex, you will oversee the company's state government affairs strategy across the nation. You will represent Flex before state policymakers and regulators, advocating for policies that support the financial stability of millions of renters. Your role will involve shaping the state policy environment to enable Flex's growth and operational integrity. You will work closely with the Vice President of Public Affairs to develop and implement strategies that align with the company's mission. You will also be responsible for building relationships with advocacy organizations and other stakeholders to advance Flex's objectives. Your insights will help anticipate challenges and identify opportunities within the regulatory landscape, ensuring that Flex remains at the forefront of innovation in the FinTech space.
