Carvana is hiring a Brake and Tire Auto Technician to perform light maintenance and repairs on vehicles. You'll work in Akron, NY, and be responsible for tasks such as changing brakes and tires. This position requires a minimum of 1 year of professional automotive repair experience.
You have at least 1 year of professional automotive repair experience and are eager to join a fast-growing company in the automotive retail sector. As a Brake & Tire Technician, you are comfortable performing light maintenance and repairs, including changing brakes and tires. You possess a valid driver’s license and can communicate effectively in English.
You are a team player who is committed to delivering exceptional customer experiences. You understand the importance of working collaboratively with your colleagues to meet business needs, including the possibility of mandatory overtime. You are open to learning and growing in your role, especially if you are joining in an entry-level position where training programs are available.
In this role, you will perform routine inspections and maintenance on vehicles, focusing on brake pads, calipers, rotors, tire installations, and wheel alignments. You will utilize state-of-the-art tools in one of Carvana's high-tech Inspection Centers to ensure that vehicles are safe and ready for customers. Your responsibilities will include diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
