Carvana is seeking a Brake and Tire Auto Technician to perform maintenance and repairs on vehicles. This role requires at least 1 year of automotive repair experience and offers competitive benefits.
You have a minimum of 1 year of professional automotive repair experience and are eager to join a fast-growing company in the automotive retail space. As a Brake & Tire Technician, you are comfortable performing light maintenance and repairs, including changing brakes and tires. You possess a basic understanding of mechanical repairs for brake pads, calipers, rotors, tire installations, and wheel alignments. You are a team player who is committed to delivering exceptional customer experiences and can adapt to the business's needs, including working mandatory overtime when required.
While not required, any additional certifications or training in automotive repair will be beneficial. A valid driver’s license is essential, and being able to communicate effectively in English is a must. You are open to learning and growing within the company, taking advantage of training programs that Carvana offers to enhance your skills and career progression.
In this role, you will be responsible for performing routine inspections and maintenance on vehicles, ensuring that they meet safety standards and are ready for customer delivery. You will change brake pads, calipers, and rotors, as well as install tires and perform wheel alignments. Your work will directly contribute to the quality of vehicles that Carvana delivers to its customers, and you will use state-of-the-art tools in one of our high-tech Inspection Centers. You will also participate in training programs designed to help you develop your skills and advance your career within the company.
