You are a skilled Diesel Technician with experience working on Class 8 trucks and trailers. You possess a valid driver’s license and can read, write, speak, and understand English. You are at least 18 years of age and are ready to take on the responsibilities that come with maintaining a fleet of vehicles under manufacturer warranty. Your attention to detail and commitment to safety are paramount in your role.
As a Diesel Technician at Carvana, you will be responsible for ensuring that our Class 8 fleet is safe and reliable. You will perform maintenance and repairs on day cabs and trailers, focusing on keeping the vehicles in optimal condition. Your role will involve troubleshooting issues, conducting routine inspections, and performing necessary repairs to minimize downtime.
You will work closely with other team members in a supportive environment, where collaboration is key. Your contributions will directly impact the efficiency of our fleet operations, and you will have opportunities for growth and advancement within the company. You will also benefit from internal training, including classroom time for DTNA ARC Certification, and receive a tool allowance to keep your equipment up-to-date.
Carvana offers competitive hourly compensation ranging from $33 to $40, along with overtime opportunities. In your first year, you will accrue 104 hours of paid time off, and you will also receive a $500 annual tool allowance and a $100 boot allowance every six months.
