You have a Bachelor's degree in computer science or 2+ years of experience in developer relations, technical writing, or technical content marketing — you understand the nuances of technical documentation and how it can empower developers. Your strong understanding of software engineering concepts and developer tooling allows you to create content that resonates with technical audiences.

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills are your forte — you can convey complex technical information in a clear and engaging manner. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with engineering and marketing teams to ensure that documentation is accurate and user-friendly.

You are passionate about helping developers succeed and are excited to engage with the community through technical content and conversation. Your experience in creating educational materials, such as self-paced courses, showcases your ability to guide developers from novice to expert.

Desirable

Experience with docs-as-code practices and tools is a plus — you are familiar with version control systems and understand how to integrate documentation into the development workflow. A background in security infrastructure or secrets management would be beneficial, as it aligns with Infisical's mission to simplify security for developers.

What you'll do

As a Founding Technical Writer at Infisical, you will own the technical documentation process, developing and maintaining comprehensive guides, code samples, and feature references. Your role will involve creating educational materials that help developers understand and effectively use Infisical's offerings.

You will collaborate closely with engineering to continuously review and improve documentation accuracy and usability, ensuring that it meets the needs of developers. Additionally, you will be responsible for product updates, white papers, and the developer newsletter, keeping the community informed and engaged.

Your contributions will directly impact how developers discover, learn, and grow with Infisical, making this a high-impact role within the organization. You will have the opportunity to shape the documentation strategy and drive adoption across the ecosystem.
