Who you are

You are an expert in surgical procedures with a strong understanding of operating room protocols. Your experience includes participating in both preclinical animal studies and human clinical surgeries, ensuring that all team members adhere to strict aseptic techniques and guidelines. You possess the ability to anticipate the needs of surgical teams by reviewing surgery protocols and utilizing your knowledge of operating room functionality. Your commitment to safety is paramount, as you oversee and enforce safety procedures required in an operating room environment. You are detail-oriented and capable of collecting and compiling relevant surgical data for engineering and preclinical analytical review. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with team members to ensure the success of surgical procedures.

What you'll do

As an Operating Room Specialist at Neuralink, you will play a crucial role in the surgical team responsible for the installation of innovative brain interface devices. You will participate in preclinical animal studies and human clinical surgeries, ensuring that all procedures are conducted safely and efficiently. Your responsibilities will include reviewing surgery protocols preoperatively and utilizing your knowledge of operating room functionality to anticipate the needs of the surgical team. You will oversee and enforce strict safety procedures and protocols required in the operating room, ensuring that all team members adhere to best practices. Additionally, you will collect and compile relevant surgical data for engineering and preclinical analytical review, contributing to the ongoing development of Neuralink's groundbreaking technologies. Your role will require you to collaborate with various team members, ensuring that the surgical experience for Neuralink customers is seamless and effective.
