Job Description
Who you are
You hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field and have over 3 years of experience in performance optimization. You possess expertise in performance profiling tools and techniques, and you have a solid understanding of various programming languages including C++, Java, and Python. You are skilled in identifying bottlenecks in software and systems, and you have a knack for improving code efficiency through optimization strategies.
You are familiar with cloud environments and have experience optimizing performance in such settings. Your background may also include working with embedded systems and AI model-based applications, giving you a broad perspective on performance challenges. You understand the intricacies of large-scale data processing and distributed systems, and you have a good grasp of network optimization and security.
What you'll do
In this role, you will analyze and evaluate the performance of software and systems, identifying bottlenecks and opportunities for improvement. You will review code, algorithms, and data structures to enhance performance and implement various optimization techniques and tools. You will plan and conduct performance testing to detect issues, using profiling tools to identify causes of performance degradation and establish optimization strategies.
You will analyze server and network configurations to find optimization points, striving for optimal performance by effectively utilizing hardware resources. You will respond quickly and effectively to performance-related issues in operational systems, continuously monitoring performance metrics to prevent problems.
