Who you are
You have a strong background in AI and machine learning, particularly with experience in PyTorch and CUDA. Your expertise in C++ allows you to design efficient algorithms and systems that enhance the performance of self-driving technologies. You are familiar with asynchronous programming models and heterogeneous compute environments, enabling you to tackle complex challenges in model development. You understand the intricacies of deep neural networks and are passionate about optimizing their performance for real-world applications.
You have experience in developing frameworks suitable for mixed precision training of multi-task, multi-modality models. Your ability to identify and communicate best practices for model development ensures that your contributions lead to significant improvements in efficiency and effectiveness. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with research scientists to reformulate performance bottlenecks and implement innovative solutions.
Desirable
Experience with machine learning model architecture design and CUDA kernel implementation is a plus. Familiarity with TensorRT and autonomous vehicle multi-sensor model architectures will further enhance your ability to contribute to Waabi's mission.
What you'll do
In this role, you will collaborate with research scientists during algorithm design to ensure that code is efficiently designed from inception. You will identify and communicate best practices for model development, reformulating performance bottlenecks to enhance the efficiency of self-driving technology. Your work will involve developing a framework suitable for mixed precision training of multi-task, multi-modality models in a heterogeneous distributed training environment.
You will research, implement, and test alternative formulations for fundamental deep neural network operations and autonomous vehicle-centric representations. Your contributions will enable the safe and efficient deployment of PnP models, directly impacting the commercialization of self-driving technology.
