Job Description
Who you are
You hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field, and you have over 5 years of experience in radar technology and system integration. You possess a deep understanding of automotive industry standards and protocols, including ISO 26262 and AUTOSAR, which are crucial for ensuring compliance in your work.
Your experience includes developing specifications for radar systems and integrating them into vehicles, demonstrating your ability to work collaboratively with hardware, software, and systems engineering teams. You have strong problem-solving skills and can analyze complex issues to find effective solutions, ensuring the performance and reliability of radar systems in autonomous vehicles.
You are proficient in using simulation and analysis tools such as MATLAB and Python, and you have experience with programming languages like C and C++. Your communication skills enable you to work effectively in a team environment, fostering collaboration and knowledge sharing among colleagues.
Desirable
Experience in developing and mass-producing radar systems is a plus, as is familiarity with advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS) and autonomous driving technologies. Leadership experience or project management skills will be advantageous, as will knowledge of automotive quality standards like IATF 16949.
What you'll do
In this role, you will be responsible for the mass production application and performance verification of vehicle radar systems. You will collaborate with hardware, software, and systems engineering teams to design and analyze system-level performance, ensuring that radar systems are effectively integrated into vehicles. Your responsibilities will include writing and maintaining technical documentation such as specifications, design documents, and test plans.
You will develop the integration of radar systems within vehicles, considering power, communication, and environmental factors. Compliance with automotive industry standards and regulations will be a key focus of your work, ensuring that all systems meet necessary safety and performance criteria.
You will also engage in problem-solving and performance analysis, working closely with cross-functional teams to address any challenges that arise during the development process.
