You have 5+ years of experience in software engineering, with a strong background in building and managing teams. Your experience includes working with mobile SDKs, frontend dashboards, and server-side APIs, which are crucial for the Radar Protect product. You thrive in a high-performance culture and are excited about the opportunity to contribute to a product that is essential for customers' operations.
You possess strong technical skills in languages such as Java and Python, and have experience with cloud platforms like AWS. Your leadership style is collaborative, and you excel at mentoring engineers, helping them grow in their careers while delivering impactful solutions. You understand the importance of fraud detection and compliance in today's digital landscape, and are passionate about building products that make a difference.
What you'll do
As the Engineering Manager for Radar Protect, you will lead a team of engineers in developing and enhancing our core product. You will be responsible for overseeing the technical direction of the team, ensuring that the product meets the needs of our customers while maintaining high standards of quality. You will engage in hands-on coding, participate in code reviews, and guide your team through the software development lifecycle.
You will collaborate closely with product managers and other stakeholders to define the roadmap for Radar Protect, prioritizing features and improvements based on customer feedback and market trends. Your role will involve setting clear goals for your team, conducting regular one-on-ones, and fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
You will also be involved in hiring and onboarding new team members, ensuring that they align with our company values and contribute positively to the team dynamic. As a key player in the organization, you will represent the engineering team in cross-functional meetings, advocating for the resources and support needed to achieve your team's objectives.
