You have 4-8 years of experience in backend development, particularly with JVM languages such as Java, Scala, or Kotlin. Your strong understanding of data structures and algorithms allows you to tackle complex problems effectively. You have hands-on experience with database systems, including RDBMS, MongoDB, and Elasticsearch, which enables you to design efficient data solutions. Your familiarity with cloud technologies and distributed systems positions you well to contribute to enterprise-level software solutions. You are a problem solver who enjoys diving deep into open-source data engines to optimize their performance. Your experience in SQL and knowledge of data quality and data cataloging are valuable assets for this role.

What you'll do

As a Senior Backend Engineer at Acceldata, you will be responsible for designing, building, and improving key features of the Data Observability suite. You will investigate software-related complaints and make necessary adjustments to ensure optimal software performance. Your role will involve developing low-latency APIs that will be consumed by frontend and solution engineers. You will collaborate closely with frontend and product teams to create a reliable and scalable platform. Regular team meetings will provide opportunities to discuss projects, brainstorm ideas, and propose solutions to any issues that arise. Your contributions will directly impact how enterprises manage and observe their data, ensuring data quality and preventing failures.
