Who you are

You have 4-8 years of experience in Test Automation, with a strong focus on UI Automation using tools like Cypress. Your background includes developing maintainable test automation frameworks and tools, and you are adept at collaborating with software engineers to create effective test strategies and plans for new product features. You possess excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, enabling you to identify and report defects efficiently. Your strong communication and collaboration skills allow you to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

You hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, which has provided you with a solid foundation in software development principles. Your hands-on experience with building processes and managing QA environments makes you a valuable asset to any engineering team. You are also familiar with Big Data Testing and Hadoop Testing, which adds to your expertise in the field.

What you'll do

As a Senior SDET at Acceldata, you will be the gatekeeper for product and platform quality, developing comprehensive test strategies and plans. You will design, execute, and maintain automated test suites to ensure the quality of our products, while also performing manual testing when necessary. Your role will involve close collaboration with development teams from the beginning of the development cycle, ensuring that quality is integrated into every stage of the process.

You will work with build management tools like Git and Jenkins to facilitate smooth build and deployment processes. Monitoring and analyzing test results will be a key part of your responsibilities, as you provide feedback to development teams to improve testing efficiency and effectiveness. Your expertise in data technologies and platform components will help maintain test coverage and regression pipelines, contributing to successful release management.
