Who you are

You have 5+ years of experience in software development and testing, particularly in automation and quality assurance. Your expertise includes developing and maintaining test automation frameworks and tools using programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, or Python. You are skilled in collaborating with development teams to create effective test strategies and plans for new product features, ensuring high-quality deliverables.

You possess excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, allowing you to identify and report defects efficiently. Your strong communication and collaboration skills enable you to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. You are familiar with build management tools like Git and Jenkins, and you have experience working with CI/CD processes and Kubernetes.

Desirable

Experience in Big Data technologies or Hadoop is a plus, as is familiarity with building automation frameworks. You thrive in environments where you can leverage your technical skills to improve product quality and efficiency.

What you'll do

As a Senior SDET at Acceldata, you will be the gatekeeper for product and platform quality, developing project and feature system test strategies, test plans, and execution strategies. You will design, execute, and maintain automated test suites to ensure the quality of our products, while also performing manual testing when necessary. Your role will involve close collaboration with software engineers and solution engineers from the beginning of the development cycle, making you an integral part of the engineering team.

You will maintain test coverage, regression pipelines, and manage release processes, ensuring that all aspects of the product meet high-quality standards. Your responsibilities will also include developing maintainable test automation tools and frameworks, as well as working with build management tools like Git and Jenkins to facilitate smooth build and deployment processes. You will contribute to the continuous improvement of our testing practices and help foster a culture of quality within the team.
