You have a Bachelor's degree in Data Science or Meteorology and at least 2 years of experience in designing weather maps and displays. You possess strong analytical thinking and communication skills, enabling you to translate complex data into actionable insights effectively.
You are passionate about improving graphic standards and have a keen eye for detail. Your experience with AI in graphic creation is a plus, as you aim to bring innovative solutions to the design process. You thrive in collaborative environments and enjoy working with cross-functional teams to achieve the best results.
What you'll do
As a Graphic Design Meteorologist at AccuWeather, you will systematically review all graphics and collaborate with graphic teams to develop improvements and updated standards. You will work closely with leadership to gain buy-in for proposed changes and implement them effectively. Your role will involve enhancing the visual representation of weather data across various platforms, including websites and apps.
