You have a strong background in security engineering with a focus on abuse detection and prevention — your experience includes designing and implementing automated systems that protect platforms from various threats. You are proficient in programming languages such as Python and have a solid understanding of cloud services like AWS, which you leverage to build scalable security solutions.
You possess excellent analytical skills, allowing you to interpret complex threat landscapes and translate them into actionable security measures. Your experience with SQL enables you to analyze data effectively, ensuring that your security strategies are data-driven and robust. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with product and security teams to enhance the overall security posture of the organization.
What you'll do
In this role, you will be the primary architect for the next generation of abuse detection capabilities at ActiveCampaign. You will design and build sophisticated automated behavioral analysis pipelines that protect our ecosystem from trial abuse, account takeovers, and evolving sending anomalies. Your responsibilities will include monitoring security logs and developing strategies to mitigate risks associated with various threats.
You will partner directly with Security and Product leadership to ensure that our platform remains a trusted environment for millions of users. This high-impact role requires you to stay ahead of emerging threats and continuously improve our security measures. You will also be involved in mentoring junior engineers and sharing your expertise to foster a culture of security awareness within the team.
