You are a proactive Senior Security Detection and Monitoring Engineer with a strong focus on Security Operations and Threat Detection. With advanced Python development skills, you have experience in building and operating effective security detection systems. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with security, product, development, and infrastructure teams to create meaningful detections and respond to alerts effectively.

You have a deep understanding of security incident response and are skilled in automating complex manual tasks to improve detection capabilities. Your ability to investigate security incidents and implement complex detection logic in in-house developed tools sets you apart. You are motivated by tackling unique technical challenges at scale and are committed to delivering innovative and ethical solutions.

What you'll do

In this role, you will focus on developing and maintaining security solutions that enhance detection capabilities across the Adyen ecosystem. You will collaborate with various teams to create meaningful detections and respond to triggered alerts. Your responsibilities will include implementing complex detection logic in our proprietary security monitoring tool, utilizing your Python expertise to automate difficult tasks and improve overall security operations.

You will be instrumental in building and operating a highly effective security detection and response system, ensuring that Adyen's security posture remains robust and responsive to emerging threats. Your work will directly contribute to the safety and integrity of our financial technology platform, helping businesses achieve their ambitions faster.
