Adyen is seeking a Lead Compliance Manager to oversee the global CDD & KYC operations. You'll manage a team of over 130 professionals and define the global compliance strategy. This role requires a blend of commercial savvy and technical compliance expertise.

You have extensive experience in compliance management, particularly in Customer Due Diligence (CDD) and Know Your Customer (KYC) operations. You understand the complexities of regulatory requirements and have a proven track record of leading large teams effectively. Your leadership style fosters collaboration and innovation, enabling your team to tackle challenges head-on. You possess strong commercial acumen, allowing you to align compliance strategies with business objectives. You are adept at navigating cross-regional compliance issues and can communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are motivated by the opportunity to make a significant impact on the organization.

Desirable

Experience in the financial technology sector is a plus, as is familiarity with global compliance frameworks. You may have a background in risk management or operational oversight, which complements your compliance expertise. What you'll do

As the Global Head of CDD & KYC, you will lead a diverse team of over 130 professionals across various regions, including EMEA, APAC, and the Americas. Your primary responsibility will be to define and execute the global CDD/KYC strategy, ensuring it aligns with Adyen's ambitious growth objectives. You will oversee the onboarding and periodic reviews of customers, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards while maintaining operational efficiency. You will work closely with regional teams to ensure that compliance practices are consistent and effective across all markets. Your role will involve regular reporting to senior leadership, providing insights into compliance performance and areas for improvement. You will also be responsible for fostering a culture of compliance within the organization, promoting awareness and understanding of compliance issues among all employees.
