You understand the intricacies of the supply chain and are familiar with the challenges that come with sourcing advanced technology components. Your analytical skills allow you to assess supplier performance and make data-driven decisions that enhance supply chain efficiency. Desirable

What you'll do

In this role, you will take ownership of the strategic sourcing process for critical components used in Aeva's advanced Lidar systems. You will develop and implement sourcing strategies that align with the company's product development goals and ensure a reliable supply of high-quality components. You will work closely with engineering teams to understand their requirements and translate them into actionable sourcing plans. Your ability to manage supplier relationships will be crucial as you negotiate contracts and ensure compliance with quality standards.

You will also collaborate with manufacturing and quality teams to address any supply chain issues that arise and implement solutions that minimize disruptions. Your role will involve regular assessments of supplier performance, conducting audits, and ensuring that suppliers meet Aeva's standards for quality and reliability. You will analyze market trends and pricing to make informed decisions about sourcing strategies and identify opportunities for cost savings.

Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate records of supplier contracts and performance metrics, providing regular updates to senior management on supply chain status and challenges. You will play a key role in cross-functional projects aimed at improving supply chain efficiency and supporting Aeva's mission to transform autonomy through innovative technology.
