You have a solid background in backend engineering, with experience in building and maintaining production systems. You understand the importance of high-availability and low-latency systems, especially in the context of consumer onboarding and authentication. You are comfortable collaborating with product management, design, and analytics teams, articulating technical constraints while considering risks and trade-offs. You are proactive in supporting your peers and stakeholders throughout the product development lifecycle, ensuring timely delivery of tasks and projects.

Desirable

What you'll do

In this role, you will break down larger projects into manageable tasks, collaborating with your team to deliver them in phases. You will participate in ideation sessions with product management and design, ensuring that technical constraints are considered in decision-making processes. Your contributions will directly impact the onboarding and verification journeys of consumers across Affirm’s product surfaces.

You will support the operations of your team’s artifacts by creating and monitoring relevant metrics, ensuring that systems remain operational and efficient. You will also participate in on-call efforts, ready to address any issues that arise. Your role will involve engaging with your team to foster a sense of community, encouraging growth and development activities that benefit everyone.
