Agtonomy is hiring a Senior/Staff Machine Learning Engineer, Perception to develop perception algorithms for autonomous tractors. You'll work with computer vision and machine learning systems, optimizing models for embedded hardware. This position requires hands-on experience in building production-grade software.

Who you are

You have a strong background in machine learning and computer vision, with hands-on experience in developing algorithms that enable autonomous systems to operate in complex environments. Your expertise in Python allows you to write production-grade software that is efficient and reliable. You thrive in collaborative settings, working closely with engineers and industry experts to innovate and solve challenging problems.

You possess a deep understanding of perception systems, including the integration of data from cameras, LiDAR, and radar. Your experience in optimizing models for embedded hardware ensures that the solutions you develop are not only effective but also practical for real-world applications. What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for building and refining perception algorithms that give our autonomous tractors human-like awareness in rugged environments. You will develop and implement computer vision and machine learning systems that process noisy data, enabling tractors to navigate through challenging conditions. Your work will involve writing production-grade software and optimizing models specifically for embedded hardware.

You will collaborate closely with team members across the autonomy stack, owning critical pieces of our perception stack. This hands-on role will require you to test your work on real tractors at operating farms worldwide, ensuring that the systems you develop are safe, reliable, and generalized for various scenarios.
