Who you are
You have a strong background in localization and cultural adaptation, ideally with 5+ years of experience in managing localization projects. You understand the nuances of language and culture, and you are passionate about creating authentic experiences for users. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with technical, content, and marketing teams to ensure that all communications resonate with local audiences. You possess excellent project management skills, enabling you to oversee multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining high-quality standards. You are detail-oriented and have a keen eye for identifying areas for improvement in localization processes. You are comfortable working with data and analytics to inform your decisions and strategies.
Desirable
Experience in the travel or hospitality industry is a plus, as is familiarity with localization tools and software. A background in content creation or marketing can also enhance your effectiveness in this role.
What you'll do
As a Localization Manager at Airbnb, you will lead efforts to adapt content for various markets, ensuring that it aligns with local cultures and preferences.
