You have 5+ years of backend engineering experience building production systems at scale — you've owned services from design through deployment and have tackled complex distributed systems issues. You possess deep expertise in Java and Spring — you've shipped high-throughput APIs that handle millions of requests and have strong opinions on service architecture and testing strategies. You are motivated by the mission of empowering global businesses and have a collaborative mindset that thrives in a team environment. You are comfortable using AI to work smarter and solve problems faster, and you bring a founder-like energy to your work.
What you'll do
As a Senior Backend Engineer at Airwallex, you will design and implement scalable backend services that support our unified payments and financial platform.
