You have 5+ years of backend engineering experience building production systems at scale — you've owned services from design through deployment and have navigated the complexities of debugging distributed systems. Your expertise in Java and Spring is deep, and you've shipped high-throughput APIs that handle millions of requests, demonstrating strong opinions on service architecture and testing strategies.

What you'll do
As a Senior Backend Engineer at Airwallex, you will design and implement scalable backend services that support our unified payments platform.
