Who you are
You have a strong background in compliance and risk management, with at least 5 years of experience in the financial services sector. You understand the regulatory landscape in Canada and have a proven track record of implementing compliance programs that meet legal requirements. Your analytical skills allow you to assess risks effectively, and you are comfortable working with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance across the organization. You are detail-oriented and possess excellent communication skills, enabling you to convey complex compliance issues to stakeholders clearly. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are motivated by the challenge of navigating regulatory complexities.
What you'll do
As the Compliance Manager & MLRO at Airwallex, you will lead the compliance function in Canada, ensuring that the company adheres to all relevant laws and regulations. You will develop and implement compliance policies and procedures, conduct regular audits, and provide training to staff on compliance matters. You will also be responsible for monitoring changes in legislation and assessing their impact on the business.
