You have extensive experience in product design, particularly in creating and maintaining design systems — your portfolio showcases your ability to deliver user-centered designs that enhance the overall user experience. You are proficient in Figma and have a strong understanding of design principles and best practices, allowing you to create intuitive and visually appealing interfaces.
You thrive in collaborative environments and enjoy working closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers and engineers — your communication skills enable you to articulate design concepts effectively and advocate for user needs. You are detail-oriented and have a keen eye for aesthetics, ensuring that your designs are not only functional but also visually engaging.
You are motivated by the challenge of solving complex design problems and are always looking for ways to improve processes and workflows — your curiosity drives you to stay updated on industry trends and emerging design tools. You are comfortable using AI tools to enhance your design work and streamline your processes.
Desirable
Experience with user research and usability testing is a plus, as it allows you to gather insights that inform your design decisions. Familiarity with front-end development concepts can also be beneficial, enabling you to collaborate more effectively with engineering teams.
What you'll do
In this role, you will lead the design efforts for Airwallex's Design Systems, ensuring consistency and quality across all products — you will create and maintain design guidelines, components, and templates that empower teams to deliver exceptional user experiences. You will collaborate closely with product managers to understand user needs and translate them into design solutions that align with business goals.
You will conduct user research and usability testing to gather feedback on your designs, iterating based on insights to enhance usability and accessibility.
