You have a strong background in quantitative analysis and a deep understanding of financial markets — your expertise allows you to design and implement effective trading strategies that enhance performance. You possess strong programming skills, particularly in Python and SQL, which you use to develop production code for trading models and execution logic. Your creative mindset enables you to approach complex problems with innovative solutions, and you thrive in collaborative environments where you can work closely with mathematicians, statisticians, and technologists.

You are detail-oriented and analytical, with a passion for the intricacies of financial markets — you understand the importance of data-driven decision-making and are skilled at interpreting complex datasets to inform trading strategies. Your ability to communicate effectively with team members ensures that you can translate quantitative insights into actionable trading decisions. You are committed to continuous learning and staying updated on market trends and technological advancements in the trading industry.

Desirable

Experience with low latency technologies and automated trading systems is a plus — you understand the challenges and opportunities presented by high-frequency trading environments. What you'll do

As a Quant Strategist at Akuna, you will play a crucial role in developing and enhancing our trading strategies — your work will directly impact our trading decisions and overall performance. You will design and develop production code for trading strategies, including pricing models and execution logic, while collaborating closely with researchers to optimize performance.
