Who you are
You hold a PhD in Science, Math, Engineering, or another quantitative field, showcasing a history of diverse and challenging coursework paired with strong grades. Your exceptional quantitative, mathematical, and problem-solving skills enable you to tackle complex challenges effectively. You possess great communication skills, allowing you to collaborate seamlessly with traders, quants, and software engineers in a collegiate and collaborative environment.
What you'll do
As a Quantitative Strategist at Virtu, you will apply your observation skills and modern statistical methods to identify and build predictive models that enhance trading strategies. You will research and implement new trading strategies while analyzing existing ones to identify potential improvements. Additionally, you will develop risk models and frameworks to manage portfolio risks, creating tools to automate research tasks and improve the visualization of complex data sets.
