You possess strong programming skills in Python, enabling you to implement algorithms and automate processes efficiently. You have a strong drive to deliver meaningful results, and your communication skills help you articulate complex concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. While not mandatory, any financial experience or knowledge of trading will be a plus, enhancing your ability to contribute to the team.

What you'll do

As a Quantitative Researcher at Akuna, you will be part of a dynamic team focused on creating scientifically-backed trading strategies. Your primary responsibility will be to develop trading strategies using statistical and machine learning algorithms, leveraging your quantitative expertise to enhance Akuna's strategy portfolio. You will help identify, design, backtest, and optimize low latency strategies using big data, ensuring that the strategies are robust and effective in real market conditions. Building metrics to evaluate strategy execution will be crucial, as you will perform post-analysis to refine and improve the strategies continuously. You will collaborate closely with mathematicians, statisticians, and technologists, contributing to a culture of innovation and excellence. Your role will also involve staying updated with the latest advancements in quantitative research and applying them to enhance the firm's trading capabilities.
